Rosa Méndez Leza (31 August 1935 – 29 Dec 2018), known professionally as Rosenda Monteros, was a Mexican actress.[1] She studied drama under Seki Sano.[2] To American audiences, she is best known for turn thumbs down on role as Petra in The Magnificent Seven.

Monteros was born in Veracruz. She moved to Mexico City what because she was 17.[4]
